Kaya Nyungar djuckian gnoonies, Nyungar wam wanju whadjuck Nyungar boordja. Nunuck nyinniny nyungar boordjar yeyi katitjen. Gnunya Braden Hill, maam Wardandi Nyungar.
Hello Nyungar sisters, brothers and aboriginal and other strangers welcome to Nyungar land where you sit today learning. I am Braden Hill Nyungar man from Wardandi (Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough) lands.
I am the Murdoch University Guild of Students Indigenous Representative, taking over from Bill Hayward who did a fantastic job for a number of years.
I am a fourth year education student (secondary) and have recently completed my Australian Indigenous Studies degree here at Murdoch.
My role here at the Guild is to ensure the university experience for all Aboriginal students is a positive one. As Indigenous Rep I am here to deal with any issues which emerge from studying here at Murdoch, whether they be equity issues, issues with a tutor, lecturer or any of the Murdoch staff. I am also here for any advice regarding anything to do with the university, this is my fifth year on campus so I know a little bit about the place.
