Enjoy a cold beer, listen to some music, watch the latest action on our plasmas, play some pool and then chill out in our beer garden.

The Murdoch Guild Tavern caters for every situation whether you want to hang out with for friends or if you just want to relax with one of our drinks.

The tavern is run by the Murdoch Guild of Students and was opened, at our current location at the northern end of Bush Court, on 15th August 2007 by Vice Chancellor John Yovich. Prior to this, we were located in the Amenities Building, which is now part of the chiropractic school, and before that we were where Club Murdoch is right now.

The Tavern is regularly used as a function venue by university staff and students. We can accommodate various types of functions from small seminars and meetings in the function room, to hiring the entire venue for 21st Birthdays and Christmas parties.

The entire venue can be hired exclusively or smaller areas can be reserved for your event. Available for hire from Monday to Saturday from 11am till midnight.

It is the perfect place for celebrations or afternoon drinks.

There's always something going on at the TAV!
