Move It!

The Murdoch Chiropractic and Sports Science Students Association (Move It!) is comprised of an eight-member executive committee, which represents the five cohorts of over 300 chiropractic students.  Move It! is in place to connect students not only to the university, but to the Chiropractic profession, as well.

Move It! organises an annual trip to India, where 3rd, 4th, and 5th year students, along with several chiropractors from the community, spend two weeks in July treating adults and children who earn a living by breaking rocks.  Move It! also holds an end-of-year ball, a mid-semester cocktail party, and a number of other social events for the students and their families.  Move It! also has representatives on the school committee, clinic committee, and research committees.

Perth Undergraduate Choral Society

The Perth Undergraduate Choral Society (PUCS) is dedicated to encouraging the enjoyment and appreciation of choral singing for students from all WA Universities.  But membership is not restricted to just the students; absolutely anyone and everyone is welcome to join in.

PUCS also acts as a training choir for singers with little or no experience in choral singing, but maintains a high musical standard in all of its concerts for those hardened operatic singers.  The choir's repertoire spans many musical styles, such as jazz, blues, choral rock and contemporary Australian music, English church and secular music, choral rock and contemporary pop.  So, annually, PUCS performs three concerts: a major consert of serious work (often orchestral), a light concert of jazz/rock/other contemporary music, and a smaller concert of secular music or other styles.  You can also find us carolling at Burswood in the Christmas season.

There are no auditions to join - just come along to one of our rehearsals!
